Sketches & Experimentations

I don't know how to draw. I never learned.

But I want to.

And to get there, I have to practice, make mistakes, and try again.

That's hard.

Too often, I get stuck in the frustration of not getting it right, how long progress takes, comparing myself to others... the usual.

That familiar vicious cycle: "I'm not good at this, so I never will be."

So I need to change my approach.

To focus on the joy of the process. To lean into its meditative quality—time slowing down, breathing, simply being present—instead of the endless list of mistakes my brain can't help but point out.

Evolving Lines is my attempt to practice discomfort.

An excuse to explore.

A reminder that experimentation is more valuable than perfection.
